Best private mobile connectivity
We are the first operator in Spain to offer a mobile connectivity service with 5G Network Slicing for companies and public administrations. This advanced functionality, integrated into our Movistar Intranet Premium service, ensures secure, high-performance mobile connectivity, even in high network congestion scenarios. The combination of our 5G SA network with the Quality on Demand API enables teleworking in crowded environments, management of connected vehicle fleets, and critical connectivity at large events, thanks to secure access to corporate networks without the need to be connected to the fixed office network.
Goals
With the combination of Telefónica’s network infrastructure and Open Gateway’s APIs we aim to optimise the interconnection of devices in corporate networks, reduce latency, and provide essential communications in high demand situations. In this way, companies can offer their employees private, secure, and high-quality mobile connectivity .
Results
The Quality on Demand API allows optimising connectivity in secure private networks (VPNs) on mobile devices by activating slicing capabilities. Movistar Intranet Premium allows employees to establish a quality connection without interruption even in congested remote work environments or areas with high network demand. In this way, private companies and public administrations can benefit financially from this solution, as it does not require additional infrastructure deployments.
