State Attorney General’s Office: optimization of legal processes with generative AI

Generative AI

The State Attorney General’s Office faced the challenge of improving response times to growing demands. Thanks to the support of Telefónica Tech, an Artificial Intelligence solution based on IBM Watson X was implemented. This uses natural language processing to compare new demands with historical cases, offering recommendations to generate drafts of automated responses. This system optimizes operational efficiency, significantly reducing preparation time and ensuring effective and secure document management.

Goals

The main purpose of this project was to improve the efficiency of preparing responses to lawsuits, using Artificial Intelligence to offer automated recommendations based on historical cases. This reduces the time needed to analyze each new lawsuit and facilitates the creation of draft responses. The implementation of this system aims to speed up response times, guarantee the organization and security of documents, and support state attorneys in their daily work without automating critical decisions.

Results

Thanks to the implementation of generative AI, the process of preparing responses has been considerably optimized, allowing lawyers to reduce analysis and response time. The system offers precise recommendations for similar historical lawsuits, which speeds up the generation of contextual and relevant drafts. Document management has also been improved, allowing for more efficient storage and retrieval of legal documents. The solution also guarantees human supervision at all times, ensuring full control of the legal process.

Testimonials
