Optimizing cyber security at the Miami Chamber of Commerce
Faced with a growing cyber security threat due to an obsolete firewall, the Miami Chamber of Commerce reached out to Telefónica Tech to modernize its infrastructure. The Chamber improved the protection of its confidential data and critical operations by implementing advanced cyber security solutions and the latest security devices. Thanks to remote administration and continuous maintenance, security, operational continuity, and an effective response to threats were guaranteed, ensuring the customer’s peace of mind.
Goals
The main purpose of this project was to strengthen the cyber security of the Miami Chamber of Commerce by implementing advanced solutions. This included updating its outdated firewall infrastructure, with a focus on protecting confidential data and the continuity of critical operations. There was also an aim to offer a comprehensive cyber security service through device management, continuous monitoring and remote maintenance to ensure a rapid response to potential threats.
Results
The implementation of advanced cyber security solutions led to a significant improvement in protection against cyber threats. The obsolete firewall was replaced with advanced devices, managed and monitored remotely from the Security Operations Centers (SOC). Thanks to this approach, downtime was minimized, reducing costs and guaranteeing an effective response to security incidents. The Chamber managed to maintain the integrity of its data and operational continuity with constant 24/7 monitoring.
