Quantum technology is technology that uses the principles of quantum mechanics.

It is a technology that will bring improvements to our everyday lives, such as more reliable navigation and timing systems, more secure communications and more powerful computing.

Quantum communication is one that takes advantage of the laws of quantum physics to protect data, allowing particles to have a superposition state in which they can adopt a state of one and zero simultaneously, known as quantum superposition.

Quantum computing is another such technology and is used to solve problems that classical computers cannot answer.
