Showcase: Technologies for Health – CatEye, 5G blood intelligent monitoring and the Internet of Things

Session description

In this talk, we will explore innovative solutions to the challenges of the healthcare system in the future. We will start with a panel discussion on how the Internet of Things (IoT) improves well-being and efficiency, addressing the ageing population and unwanted loneliness, with a telecare proposal backed by Telefónica Tech’s capabilities. Afterwards, we will present two cutting-edge demos: ‘CatEye’, a generative AI solution to assess cataracts without ophthalmologists, and ‘5G Blood Monitoring’, which enables remote monitoring of white blood cells concentration, improving pathology control with 5G and Edge Computing.
