Session description
Technological evolution in recent years has meant the incorporation of emerging and disruptive technologies, especially dual-use ones, to the portfolio of military capabilities by both state and non-state actors. This incorporation has made it possible to reduce the technological “gap” between our allies and its potential adversaries.
Rapid discovery, experimentation, integration, verification, deployment and validation of those technologies among NATO countries will be essential to maintain technological superiority. Federation of 5G enabled multidomain Test Ranges among NATO countries will be determinant to test these technologies, and share data and knowledge, then allowing real-time multidomain experimentation and rehearsal by leveraging data exploitation.
Telefónica’s 5G leadership in the defense sector presents this panel where principal stakeholders will speak about past, present and future of this federated multidomain 5G Test Ranges in the NATO framework.
