Session description
During the session, we will give the basic notions and main features of the Network Slicing technology and we will share the experience and usefulness in two projects implemented over the 5G public network with our customers, specifically with Meliá Hotels and in the SAIL GP in Cádiz. We will also talk about 5G SA (Stand Alone) networks with which we can get the maximum potential out of Network Slicing.
Tomeu Fiol, CTO of Melia, will give us his vision of the technology from the point of view of the new use cases and benefits it brings to the client.

Demo Description
We will show a live demonstration of how to take advantage of Network Slicing for broadcasting events on TV. We will see live how devices connected to the 5G SA network and with a configured slice maintain service guarantee even in times of network congestion.
We will show the live broadcast of two cameras connected to 5G SA, where one will have network slicing and the other will not. We will generate the necessary traffic to saturate the cell, and the difference in quality when using the network slicing will be shown.
