5G innovation and monetization: Network Data Analytic Function (NWDAF) potential

Session description

Telefonica has been pioneering since 2023 in exploring NWDAF (Network Data Analytics Function) capabilities with several demos and based trials in the industry (e.g Würth trial on smart logistic). NWDAF is one of the key new concepts offered by 5G SA where AI is available natively within the network in a standard fashion. Telefonica decided to make a move in implementing commercially the NWDAF in 2025.

Through this presentation Telefonica will reveal its NWDAF plans and key use cases that will be put in place in 2025 to boost operational efficiency and monetization through Open Gateway.
