Session description

Blockchain is no longer the innovative and disruptive technology of the future that a couple of years ago seemed to be reserved for implementation by super-specialised tech companies. In contrast to the holographic presentation that will be used in this session, Blockchain is already part of everyday life and at Telefónica Tech we are committed to transferring its potential benefits to any company, regardless of its size and technological profile. As an example, we present three very simple examples in which the full potential of this technology is deployed in everyday cases accessible from the mobile phone we carry in our pocket. We will understand how to enhance the traceability of assets and how to create undeniable evidences or certifications that can be verified by third parties. In addition, we will add NFTs to the equation to convince us when tokenisation and in general the opportunities to create new business models based on the web3 add value or not to the asset itself. And all of this will be supported by the functionality of TrustOS, Telefónica’s managed Blockchain service.
