Telefónica Tech has launched a new cybersecurity service in Spain, called ‘Tu Empresa Segura Lite’, specialising in workplace protection for the self-employed and micro-enterprises.
‘Tu Empresa Segura Lite’ offers advanced protection for devices and data, as well as cybersecurity training to educate employees about the importance of cybersecurity in the workplace and the need to apply good practices to maintain the integrity of information.
With this self-managed protection service, self-employed and micro-enterprises can defend themselves against viruses, Trojans, ransomware (malware that blocks or encrypts user information to demand money in exchange for its recovery) and insecure websites. In addition, they have real-time advanced threat detection and blocking, prevention of attacks through web browsing and protection of user privacy.
With this service, Telefónica Tech also provides the possibility of filtering unwanted emails and protection against phishing (emails that pretend to be a legitimate entity in order to confuse the user and steal private information, charge the user or infect the device) and fraud.
The cybersecurity service ‘Tu Empresa Segura Lite’ also helps the self-employed and micro-enterprises take their first steps with the antivirus solution and provides them with a cybersecurity awareness portal with practical courses on information security.

The ‘Tu Empresa Segura Lite’ cybersecurity service is included in all computers linked to the ‘Tu Puesto de Trabajo Seguro’ product, which is marketed by Telefónica España and from which organisations can benefit through the Digital Kit.
