Telefónica and Fundación Asti inaugurate STEM Talent Girl course in Madrid
On Friday 15th December, a new edition of STEM Talent Girl for female students in Madrid was launched. The opening ceremony took place at the 42 Madrid headquarters of Fundación Telefónica. Among others, the students were accompanied by: , Silvia Roldán, Vice-Minister of Digitalization of the Community of Madrid; Verónica Pascual, President of the ASTI Foundation and Telefónica advisor; Estefanía Serrano, Territorial delegate of the ASTI Foundation; Pablo Mateos, Director of 42 Madrid, or Almudena Moreno, responsible for Telefónica Open Innovation Campus. Also present were representatives of some of the companies that support STEAM Talent Girl, which allow all the activities to be free at a national level.
Telefónica participates in the STEAM Talent Girl project through the #GirlsLoveTech initiative, with which it wants to highlight the internal female talent in STEAM skills. Through experts and professionals from the company, they bring young innovative initiatives carried out by Telefónica to bring the world of work closer to the academic world and thus identify young talent to promote their professional development.
