Telefónica shines at the XVI edition of the National Marketing Awards

The Spanish marketing industry, represented by the Spanish Marketing Association, has recognized with four awards Telefónica's strategy in this field in such an important year for the company.

The XVI EDITION OF THE NATIONAL MARKETING AWARDS, organized every year by this Association to highlight those marketing strategies that stand out for their innovation and the achievement of tangible results, has awarded us in these four categories.

  • Best Marketing Team: the jury recognized Telefónica’s Marketing team for its team spirit, for its level of innovation and commitment, and for its successful marketing strategy that has led to rejuvenating the brand and positioning it among the most cutting-edge in the world of innovation in recent years.
  • Best Marketing Director: Rafael Fernández de Alarcón, global marketing director of Telefónica. The jury recognized his professional career with an award for which he expressed his gratitude, recalling that Telefónica has been improving people’s lives through human connections for 100 years.
  • Second prize in the Brand category, for our 5-year strategy to rejuvenate the Telefónica brand. A plan that ranges from rebranding to brand purpose orientation with initiatives such as Mejor Conectados or the study ‘The importance of connections’.
  • Second prize in the category Innovation and Technology Applied to Marketing, for the Besos Digitales campaign. Campaign launched in January, where segmentation is a priority thanks to the combination of Big Data, research and automation.

These awards are the best culmination for the marketing actions developed during the Centenary and a source of pride for the entire company.
