How long have you been with Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

I have been working for Telefónica since 2002, when I started as a collaborator. After a period as a freelance, also linked to the company, I officially joined the staff in 2012. During all this time, Telefónica has given me the opportunity to learn from great professionals and to grow professionally in multiple facets, as I have been lucky enough to work on innovative projects and in collaboration with very diverse teams in the company.

Is there any project at Telefónica that you are particularly satisfied with or proud of?

It’s difficult to choose just one project! I remember with great affection the global platform operation projects, in collaboration with Brazil, Argentina and Chile, which allowed me to get to know new ways of working and learn Portuguese! We had a great time, and having fun working on what you love is a privilege.

I am also very proud of the current Living Apps project, where we are creating agile and innovative solutions, improving the user experience and offering new ways of interaction on TV. It is very rewarding to see how our work is making a tangible contribution to people’s lives.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

It has been and continues to be the driving force behind technological innovation, promoting great changes and carrying out very ambitious challenges that have transformed the way society communicates.

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

Leading green, ethical and sustainable technology that responds to the great challenges of the 21st century and helps to build a better society.

Could you live without a mobile phone?

Absolutely! I know it sounds strange working in this sector, although I love being connected to the people I love, and I recognise that it is a great ally that makes my day-to-day life easier and saves me a lot of time, I also see that it can steal my time, and I try to get away from my phone when I need to concentrate or relax and disconnect. That and I see less and less!

Onion always and with everything! The potato also gives the omelette a unique texture.
