How long have you been with Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

I have been at Telefónica for 2 years. And it has been an incredible experience, what I like most about Telefónica is the amount of wonderful people you can meet. It’s a great company with the potential to learn from colleagues in other parts of the world, from other projects and to build new ideas together. I also love being able to develop skills that I am passionate about, such as delivering training and helping to develop teams.

Are there any projects at Telefónica that you are particularly proud or satisfied with?

Yes, there are many, if I had to choose I am very proud of the Telefónica Foundation project and the Bobath Foundation, and grateful for the opportunity Telefónica has given me to be able to participate alongside colleagues from TGS and other parts of the group, where through the teaching of classes on digital skills we collaborate so that people with cerebral palsy are closer to their social and occupational reintegration.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

I think Telefónica brings inspiration and connection between people. It has contributed a lot to society through innovative projects, providing service to customers in different areas, from Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, IoT, Big Data, Infrastructure, Technology, etc.; also with sports sponsorship and related activities, and of course with the work of the Telefónica Foundation.

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

I see Telefónica as a leader in innovation, a company that has many challenges ahead of it, and great people and professionals eager to carry them out. It is also a benchmark in the field of sustainability, and a curiosity that struck me is that in the Telefónica District alone there are 16,600 solar panels; at the time of its inauguration it was the largest photovoltaic surface area in Europe.

Could you live without a mobile phone?

Not really! I’ve already got used to the good stuff, I wouldn’t be able to live without music either, and without being in touch with the people I care about.

Help us solve one of the great enigmas of humanity: the potato omelette… With onion or without onion?

Without onion, although being a potato omelette I can adapt to anything! It’s always a good option.

Do you nominate other colleagues to appear in this section?

Mmm difficult… I nominate Rosany Silva.

In #Thespanishomelettething tag section we interview Telefónica’s employees on a variety of topics, while trying to solve one of humanity’s greatest dilemmas.
