How long have you been at Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

This year I am 26 years old, since I joined as an intern while I was at university, looking back I think I am living a thousand lives in one within Telefónica, I was able to work in areas that I was trained in and that I am passionate about, to have a global view, to know every corner of the company in Latin America and to experience the digital transformation, learning on a daily basis from fabulous people.

Something that is difficult to explain is that every day I start my day I am excited about what is to come, just like that first time.

Is there any project at Telefónica that you are particularly proud or satisfied with?

For 5 years now I have had the opportunity to collaborate in the development of digital ecosystems, coordinating the Innovation and Talent Hubs of the Telefónica Open Future programme in Argentina.

It is a world where the rules are unwritten, sometimes difficult to explain, it arises from alliances with third parties and involves getting to know, training and accompanying government teams and SMEs/technological entrepreneurs. It is fabulous because it boosts local talent and supports job creation.

It’s a project that puts to the test everything I’ve learned over time connecting people who, through the deployment of innovation and technology, seek to solve everyday problems and create digital businesses, I think it has everything!

But I can tell you that all the ones I did left their mark on me, not only because I grew as a professional, but also because you are not the same person when you start leading a project at Telefónica as when you leave, the people who make it possible and the challenges and knowledge make them fabulous experiences.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

Connecting people is wonderful, I think we are not always aware of how immense that is in every sense of the phrase, I feel that it brings to the world a network of incredible professionals, cutting-edge ideas supported by a solid, real and human trajectory. We have a great history and a limitless future.

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

Leading alliances of all kinds, being the most solid at the working tables or opening up the game, we have a lot of knowledge, we know how to imagine different uncertain futures and navigate them. We can be the captains of the ships that open doors to new businesses that we do not understand today.

Could you live without a mobile phone? I suppose so, I can’t really imagine myself without a mobile phone today, but I would quickly adopt the technology that would surpass it in time, that device that we don’t see yet but that one day could become part of our lives as the mobile phone did in its day. I love to play at imagining what it might become, and even have fun drawing them with AIs or GPT chat.

Help us solve one of the great enigmas of humanity: the potato omelette… With onion or without onion?

Without onion, like my mum makes it.
