Since 1997, the Webby Awards have become a benchmark in the Internet world in recognising the ‘best’ in different categories related to the network of networks.
The website of the Telefónica Centenary has received two nominations, both in the category of ‘Websites and mobile sites’.
Specifically, the commemorative page on the first century of the now century-old company is recognised in both ‘Events’ and ‘Corporate Communications’.
These are awards in which the users themselves decide which nominees deserve to finally receive the prize in a voting period that is open until next Thursday 17th April.

Telefonica100.com, a website to document history
The Telefónica Centenary website was designed and developed to offer a journey through each and every year of the company’s history through a documentary archive that was documented and digitised for the website itself.
Conceived as an interactive timeline from 1924 onwards, it also includes more than a hundred audiovisual testimonies from some of the people who have contributed to the construction of Telefónica in recent decades. These ‘Telefónica Voices’ serve as a sound legacy.
