Telefonica at the 11th Internet Governance Forum (IGF)

Telefonica will participate at the 11th  Internet Governance Forum (IGF), which will take place from the 6-9 December 2016 in Guadalajara, Mexico, which serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues relating to the Internet.

Telefónica will be participating through an intervention from Christoph Steck, Public Policy & Internet Director, Telefónica, S.A., in various panels providing the Company’s view on the most relevant policy issues about connecting all, broadband deployment and freedom of expression from a telcom infrastructure perspective, among others.

Also, Alex Riobo, Director of Regulation for Latam, Telefónica, S.A, will comment why a level playing field should be achieved across the whole Internet ecosystem in the “Are we all OTTs?” workshop.
