How long have you been with Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?
I started in September 1996 as a Moviline operator in the customer relationship centre at Telefónica Móviles España.
Throughout these 26 years, in general the experience has been very positive, we work in a great company, where you can develop and grow, make your dreams come true while meeting the company’s objectives.
Is there any project at Telefónica that you are particularly satisfied with or proud of?
Yes, my work in CRM Technology, doing my bit with business intelligence tools, more specifically with Verint, bringing the voice of the customer to the whole company to put the customer at the centre of everything we do. Another proud moment was making possible, together with my colleagues, the inauguration of the Movistar Centre, Movistar’s flagship in Barcelona, a project in which Telefónica participated together with the GSMA and Barcelona Mobile World Capital.
Where do you see Telefónica in the future?
Telefónica is more alive than ever, ICT and digital tools are indispensable in most of our processes. Telefónica will undoubtedly be a major player as it has been until now in telecommunications and in the societies in which it operates.
Could you live without a mobile phone?
I’m sure I could, but we have implemented so many of our day-to-day actions with our mobile phones that it would be very difficult for us to do without them. I am one of those people who, if I leave my mobile phone at home one day, I go back for it urgently.
Help us solve one of the great enigmas of humanity: the potato omelette… With onion or without onion?
Always with onion, it gives it an unbeatable flavour. By the way, I’m very good at making potato omelettes, so much so that I cooked more than 40 for all the children at the school where we were volunteering during an international Telefónica Volunteers volunteer programme.
