How long have you been with Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

I have been with Telefónica for 6 years, since March 2018 when I started working at Tempotel and then I was hired by Telefónica, and my assessment is very positive. I feel very fortunate to have found with Telefónica a place to integrate into social and working life after having to migrate from my country of origin.

Is there any project at Telefónica that you are particularly satisfied with or proud of?

I am very proud of the ProFuturo Programme, with which we want to reduce the educational gap in the world by providing quality digital education. Our goal is that children from vulnerable backgrounds can choose the future they deserve. And I feel proud, not only because of the magnitude and significance of this task, but also because we have been able to work in the social sector by bringing all the company’s know-how and expertise to the ProFuturo Foundation.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

It has provided the necessary foundations to make globalisation possible, especially because its services help to break down the barriers of continents, countries and the distance between people…..

Maintaining a profile of permanent innovation is a distinctive sign of Telefónica and at the same time one of its greatest values, because it implies permanent effort and non-conformity, and these two things are the key to moving the world forward. I believe that Telefónica is the most important company for the development and progress of everything else in the world!

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

I see Telefónica always surprising the world, because innovation leads to great discoveries or the development of new uses for things that already exist. The contribution to the development of science in general will always keep it in the role of building the future. And hopefully I can always be there to see it, or at least until I retire and, even then, keep my link to the company.

Could you live without a mobile phone?

Sometimes, yes, but very rarely and sporadically.

Help us solve one of humanity’s great enigmas: the potato omelette… With onion or without onion?

I’d rather have onions in mine, but as I love to eat, if they add some chorizo, so much the better!
