Presentations and their relevance
These are presentations that last only a few minutes and their objective is to transmit substantial ideas that are productive for your daily life or even for your training. There are presentations on different topics and you will probably find one that helps you to refine or reinforce some of your skills.
The powerful thing about these spaces is that they are accessible, practical and enriching, as professionals or aspiring professionals, training is extremely important. Training is a matter of perseverance and discipline, but also of genuine interest, interest in wanting to know and be more, so finding resources like these that are also quick to listen to or watch allows us to work towards these goals.

Leadership that inspires | Marisa Lazo | TEDxUniversidadPanamericanaGuadalajara
Marisa Lazo is a Mexican entrepreneur, founder and director of Pastelerías Marisa, with more than 100 branches, psychologist by profession and practicing as an entrepreneur since 1992, starting in the kitchen of her home and her cakes were sold by word of mouth, today she is a figure in the business world in Mexico. In her TED Talk Leadership that inspires, Marisa addresses many interesting ideas that I invite you to listen to, but as she says, that you reflect to take advantage of them and apply them in your daily life, however, I leave you my highlights:
- Continue preparing ourselves, as I have already mentioned, constant training is vital to achieve the results we want, we cannot expect the materialisation of our objectives to arrive from one day to the next, we must work for it, but work on a path that has a vision for the future. Preparation is not limited only to university education, you can also keep yourself updated through podcasts, lectures, books, articles, use the tools that allow you to continue growing, do it responsibly, but above all with a fixed goal.
- There is no doubt about this point, we as individuals can set goals and work to achieve them, however, if we want to achieve something big, it requires a multidisciplinary team, which complements each other to work together, from collaboration, empathy, respect and discipline.
- An inspirational leader believes in his team, I hope we all have this type of leader, because inspirational leadership is about believing that your team is capable of achieving the planned results and not only believing it, but also promoting an environment of strength and integration.
A simple way to break a bad habit | Judson Brewer | TED
Judson Brewer is a psychiatrist, author and teacher, who gives us in less than 10 minutes, super valuable knowledge. I will share with you the points that I liked the most:
- Awareness of our habits, for the achievement of goals one thing we must be clear about are the habits that will lead us to materialize that vision, either, finish a graduate degree, exercise constantly, develop a new project, learn a new language, etc.. Therefore, it is very important to identify our habits and know if they are aligned with what we want to achieve.
- Meditate before responding to an impulse, hand in hand with the previous idea, think before responding to a habit that may not be aligned with what we want to achieve, before continuing it, we must meditate very well if this activity can help us get to where we want, make us aware of this, can give us light at the time to make us new habits that if they go more with our goals.
Do not stop training yourself, visit other Ted Talks that interest you, those that are aligned with your goals or your interests at the time, remember that there is variety in the topics and can help you stay updated; or simply entertain yourself while you are at home or work.
