How long have you been with Telefónica and how would you rate your time here?
I started in the last century, in the Moviline customer service department. I worked in various areas of customer service and incident and complaint resolution, including the complaints unit for Official Bodies and the President’s Office. Now you can find me in the area of Marketing PYMES, in training and transformation projects for the commercial network.
I am an internal teacher and I occasionally give training courses and I love it. I think Telefónica has given me the opportunity to grow and develop as a professional, to carry out different functions that have allowed me to acquire new skills, which has led to professional and personal growth and enrichment. I would also highlight the commitment, companionship and professionalism that I have found in so many of my colleagues.
Is there any project at Telefónica that you are particularly satisfied with or proud of?
The complaint reduction projects in which I have participated; it is very satisfying to see an initiative that you have worked on being implemented to increase customer satisfaction. Currently, the projects related to the digitisation of SMEs that I am involved in, to contribute to the digitisation of the commercial network and SMEs, are very challenging and at the same time very relevant. At a company level, Telefónica’s constant involvement in actions to help society when necessary makes me very proud.
What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?
“Connecting people’s lives, making the world more humane”… I feel totally identified with our motto, I think it sums up the value and meaning of everything we do as Telefónica people. Today’s society and the level of technological and economic development would not be what it is today without Telefónica’s contribution. I feel that we are a small part of society’s progress and the improvement of people’s lives.
Where do you see Telefónica in the future?
At the forefront of telecommunications and digitalisation. Being a technological and economic benchmark and having an influence on society and, therefore, on people’s lives.
Could you live without a mobile phone?
No. When I joined Moviline I had never seen one. I don’t think any of us could have imagined then the evolution of this device. But I have to admit that sometimes I wish I didn’t depend so much…
Help us solve one of the great enigmas of humanity: the potato omelette… With or without onion?
There is no enigma, with onion, obviously. The debate is another: too curdled or not curdled enough?
