How long have you been with Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

I have been working at Telefónica since 1999.

My assessment could not be more positive. I have not only grown here as a professional, but also as a person. I have learned about telecommunications and teamwork, but, above all, Telefónica has allowed me to have a broader vision of the world, I have got to know different cultures and ways of working and it has given me very good friends.

I take with me: having worked with very good professionals, people of great talent and kindness, fun and positive people who made everything seem easy.

From Telefónica I take with me its people and its multiculturalism.

Is there any project at Telefónica that you feel particularly satisfied with?

There are many, perhaps because of my youth I remember very fondly the birth of ‘Infovia Plus’ and the years of technical work. There was a great feeling of camaraderie and you saw the results of your work immediately with the customer’s gratitude.

I think I have enjoyed every project and I continue to do so now at Telxius.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

Connection and communication between people and access to information, two fundamental things for the well-being and development of any society.

Spain would not be the country it is today without Telefónica.

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

Leading the communications market, with this breakneck speed in technology that we are experiencing. I hope we know how to be agile, without losing our focus on people and the human side.

Could you live without a mobile phone?

Impossible!!!, I have my family and friends on it, but also my medical appointments, my shopping list, my flights, the location of my car and it knows better than I do how I have slept…in fact I have two that I carry everywhere I go.

Help us solve one of humanity’s great enigmas: the potato omelette… With onion or without onion?

Well, I think that there are few things in life that are either black or white… and the omelette is no exception to this grey scale. So with onion I like it, without it too, with courgette, green peppers. Half a mini point for each option.

In #Thespanishomelettething tag section we interview Telefónica’s employees on a variety of topics, while trying to solve one of humanity’s greatest dilemmas.
