Today Eduardo Navarro, Telefónica’s Chief Commercial Digital Officer, will join Andrus Ansip, EC Vice President for the Digital Single market and other leading policy makers at the Politico Annual Data Summit in Brussels.
The summit will focus on unlocking the potential of digital and will address how to get competition right in Europe’s digital market as well as how to win the battle for consumer trust and confidence.
Eduardo Navarro will discuss Telefonica’s research on citizens’ attitudes to the use of their data. He will explain the crucial role played by companies Telefónica in creating a better digital life, by giving control of it back to citizens as well as investing in data-driven innovation.
Through its global network Telefónica Open Future, Telefónica has already invested 500 million Euros in over 500 start-ups across 17 countries.
The audience at the Politico Annual Data Summit will include European Commission, Council and Parliamentary Members, officials and advisors, representatives of industry, trade associations and interest groups.
