ONCE Foundation, in the framework of the European Network for Corporate Social Responsibility and Disability (CSR+D Network), and with support of the European Commission launches the 1st European Award for Social Entrepreneurship and Disability: promoting social investment.
The aim of this award is to reward and boost projects that promote innovation and social cohesion, integrating disability in the field of social entrepreneurship.
This first edition will recognize and award projects and Start-Ups, that fit in one of the two profiles of participation: Social Entrepreneurs working in the field of disability or Entrepreneurs with a disability with an innovative project.
The winning project will receive a financial reward of 6,000 euros, co-financed by the European Social Fund (70%), and Triodos Foundation and Fundación ONCE (in 30%), as well as expert advice to enjoy by professionals involved in this initiative.
ONCE Foundation has the support of the European Commission and with the support of Telefónica, L’Oréal and the Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali (founding members of the CSR & D Network), in addition to Kanchi, Essl Foundation and Triodos Foundation to carry out this award
Applications can be submitted as of 4 October 2013 until 15 November 2013.
