Underlining the relevance of mobile for the very next future, “Explore the new mobile horizon”: is the theme for this year’s Mobile World Congress, which will take place this week in Barcelona.

As every year, Barcelona will become the mobile capital of the world where industry key players will analyze the changes and evolution of the mobile ecosystem but also show the latest innovations around current and future mobile services and products.

For this occasion, Analysys Mason issued some days ago an insight report with the most relevant trends for the mobile sector, which is very interesting, showing the main challenges and changes for the industry for the future, how to understand new customer’s needs, the relevance of big data, M2M or Wi-Fi amongst other issues. You can access the report here.

Of course, Telefónica will be there, more specifically in hall 3, stand 3B 108, at Fira Gran Vía in Barcelona showing our view of the industry’s future in terms of the services and technologies developed for both professionals and home users, in a clear and easy way. The stand is divided into two levels to showcase the Movistar, O2 and Vivo brands operating under the Telefónica institutional umbrella.

We will also be very active during the congress with the participation of key members of the company during the whole week. You can find the Telefónica representation here and for those who cannot attend the event, there is the possibility to follow it live here.

Enjoy this mobile week!
