How long have you been with Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?
I have been with this company for 26 years. It is a superlative assessment, the most edifying of my professional career.
Is there any project at Telefónica that you are particularly satisfied with or proud of?
I am proud to have played my part in negotiating network contracts (3/4 and 5G deployments) in both Spain and Brazil. More recently, it has been an honour to dedicate almost the last two years to the launch and start-up of the Solar360 Joint Venture, together with Telefónica and Repsol.
What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?
It has contributed enormously to people’s well-being and has been the best launcher of companies’ businesses through its infrastructures and capabilities.
Where do you see Telefónica in the future?
Leading the sector, establishing alliances with the most relevant companies in the industry.
Could you live without a mobile phone?
Not at all, I do everything via mobile. I only allow myself to go on a digital diet one day on holiday.
