How long have you been with Telefónica and what is your assessment of your time here?

I have been with Telefónica for 19 years, which went by very quickly. I worked in several areas, with different managers and great challenges. Telefónica is an incredible, diverse and inclusive company, which has transformed a lot in this time, moving towards a position as a technology and innovation hub in different market sectors. It is a company of many opportunities and where growth is certain.

Is there any project at Telefónica that you feel particularly satisfied with or proud of?

There are several projects, but I am very proud to be part of the transformation we are making to improve our customers’ experience. We are creating new journeys and processes based on the needs of our customers, but also generating value for customers, anticipating their needs with new omni-channel and expectation management journeys. As a result we have the leadership in customer satisfaction, we have the highest NPS in the sector, we have already won several awards for best NPS and best customer service experience. We can say that we have a strong culture of customer centricity.

What do you think Telefónica has contributed to society?

Telefónica is leading the digital transformation and innovation, promoting the growth of the economy and society, creating jobs, connecting and bringing people together. It is a diverse and inclusive company that helps everyone to be the way they want to be, opening up spaces for open conversations and for everyone to give their best efforts.

Where do you see Telefónica in the future?

Telefónica will be, as always, at the forefront of digital transformation, of the many technologies and new businesses that will emerge with digitalisation. Telefónica will also continue to be strong with the best partners and allies throughout the chain and bringing new opportunities and benefits to its customers.

Could you live without a mobile phone?

I no longer live without a mobile phone for work, to connect with friends and family and to update myself. The secret is moderation, but connectivity is at the heart of technology.
