Vicente San Miguel Maza
First Global CTIO of Telefónica S.A.
Among them, he was the first Global CTIO of Telefónica SA after being in charge of the Development and Construction of Networks in Telefónica Spain, GCPO with a Purchasing responsibility of more than €25 M per year and taking our Supply Chain to the next level, the first Global Chief Transformation Officer establishing a Digital Transformation program focused on improving costs by increasing the quality perceived by customers, and in his last stage he was the initial CEO of UGG in Germany in the middle of the pandemic
He began his career at Telefónica Sistemas to move to Telefónica Spain where he had contact with International Networks and Services, among other responsibilities.
Vicente holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has completed different programs at IESE and Insead.
He is currently on the Board of The Marconi Society, is a partner of the specialized consultancy OVP and acts as Senior Advisor of the Cerberus investment fund on Technology issues for Europe. He occasionally collaborates with the University of Navarra on Leadership and Change issues.
Personally, his main passion is his wife, his daughters and grandchildren on the one hand, and accompanying his parents at this stage of their lives.
