I studied telecommunications engineering in Seville and started as an intern at Telefónica there, in the Indoor Plant Engineering department (Transport Networks). At the end of the scholarship I moved to Madrid, where I have been living ever since.
I have almost always worked in areas related to Network Creation. The exception is the 3 years I spent in the Telco project, where I stayed more or less for the duration of the analysis and process definition phase. When that project entered a more technical design phase, I asked to return to "my old world". It had only been a short time since the Operations and Network Transformation directorate had been created and the FARO project launched. That's where I joined and where I still am, shutting down "legay" networks and shutting down exchanges.
