Elena Valderrábano
Director of Global Sustainability (ESG) at Telefónica
Elena Valderrábano is Director of Global Sustainability (ESG) at Telefónica. Previously she has been General Manager of Fundación Telefónica.
She forged her career in Repsol, holding several executive roles in Sales & Marketing and Corporate Responsibility. She has also worked as a lawyer for ten years specialising in commercial, maritime and environmental law.
She is a member of the advisory committee of Fundación SERES (Fundación Sociedad y Empresa Responsable), a non-profit organisation with 150 companies that promotes their leadership in the face of social change.
Elena has been recognised as one of the most influential women in ESG in the "Top 100 Women in Sustainability" ranking published by the British magazine Sustainability.
She holds a degree in Law and a diploma in Business Administration from ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas. She holds a Master's Degree in Maritime Business from IME, has completed the Higher Programme in Environmental Engineering and Management at EOI and the Integral Management Programme at IAE Austral University.
