Elena Díaz
Head of the IoT & Big Data Unicity Centre of Excellence.
Degree in Mathematics, specialising in Statistics and Operations Research, from the Complutense University of Madrid; Master's Degree in Statistical Learning and Data Mining from the National Distance University.
Passionate about data with more than 15 years of experience in the development, execution and planning of analytical consulting and geomarketing projects. Dedicating the last 6 years to the execution of projects in Big Data environments, and in the development of interactive data visualizations.
He is currently working at Telefónica TECH as head of the Centre of Excellence for IoT & Big Data unicity. During the last 9 years he has held different positions within the Data Unit of Telefónica; starting as Senior Data Scientist in LUCA, Data Unit of Telefónica, to later be responsible for the Centre of Excellence, team in charge of the Delivery of projects based on Insights, within the Big Data Unit.
Collaborating professor in postgraduate programmes at CESTE and EOI.
