Alejandra García Hoyos
Competition Counsel
Alejandra García Hoyos is a member of the Competition team at Telefónica S.A. Her practice focuses on advising on competition law, State aid, and merger control in several jurisdictions. She also works on regulatory matters and represents Telefónica in associations at European level. Alejandra started her professional career in Brussels, where she worked for the European Commission as a trainee and in various law firms.
Alejandra is a qualified lawyer and holds a double degree in Law and International Relations from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE). During her studies, she had the opportunity to spend two Erasmus periods at Sciences Po Paris and Aarhus University in Denmark. After graduating, she completed an LLM in Competition Law at King’s College London.
